SabaiDee Review

SabaiDee is an American CBD brand best known for its use of broad-spectrum hemp extracts for all of their products.

These products are a decent option for the money if you’re specifically looking for broad-spectrum products (no THC) — however, for the money, you’re better off going for products that use the stronger and more versatile full-spectrum hemp extract instead.

We recommend checking out products from brands like Royal CBD, Gold Bee, Endoca (Europe), or Charlotte’s Web instead.

Mission/Charity 5/5

SabaiDee is one of the few CBD brands taking action to accomplish its mission. This brand is focused on the problem of deforestation and has a pledge to plant one million trees.

The SabaiDee team plants one tree for every bottle of CBD oil sold.

Hemp Source 4/5

SabaiDee gets its hemp from its partner farms in Colorado. This company provides up to date testing to verify the hemp they’re using remains free from contaminants.

For full points, we’d like to see SabaiDee using organic hemp to make its products.

Product Range 3/5

This is an area where SabaiDee falls short; they only offer two product types — a CBD oil and a CBD topical.

While the company presents its oils as four separate products, they’re essentially the same hemp extract diluted in different concentrations and with different flavors. Most CBD companies would list this as one oil and allow customers to select between different potency or flavor options.

Innovation 2/5

SabaiDee is doing very little to innovate the industry. Their products are simple CBD oils or CBD topicals made with just three or four ingredients.

Safety 3/5

SabaiDee lists all their third-party test results live on the company website — which verifies that they’re free from common hemp contaminants that could lead to harmful side effects from using the oil — especially long-term.

Additionally, the language used on the SabaiDee website regarding safety is often misleading. For example, the FAQ under the section “Does CBD have side-effects” simply suggests the side-effects as “feeling more relaxed and calm” which completely skips the actual side-effects of CBD their customers need to know about.

Customer Service 3/5

The policies put in place regarding returns and customer complaints at SabaiDee is decent overall — but we found the responses to our questions regarding their products to be underwhelming at best. When prompted for information on the side-effects of their oils, among other related questions, we received virtually no new information from what was listed on the company website.

For full-points, we’d like to see evidence that the customer service representatives are knowledgeable about CBD and keen to help answer their customers’ questions.

About the Company: SabaiDee

SabaiDee is an American CBD brand based out of Wyoming. The company also recently established headquarters in the UK in Essex to manage their international customer base.

We commend this brand for its mission to plant a million trees in the fight against deforestation. They’re one of the few brands taking actionable steps towards making the world a better place for future generations — rather than just talking about it.

For every bottle of CBD oil sold, the company will plant one tree through the companies non-profit reforestation partners.

1. CBD Oils

Every CBD company has at least one CBD oil in its lineup — most have three or four.

CBD oils are a relatively cheap way of getting a strong dose of CBD, they have a high absorption rate, and they allow users to customize the dose they want down to individual milligrams of CBD.

The best CBD oils are made from full-spectrum hemp extract, come in a variety of different flavors and potencies, and come backed with third-party testing to verify the potency and purity of the oil.

SabaiDee has four different CBD oils in its lineup — three different potencies of their broad-spectrum extract, each with peppermint flavor and one (1000 mg) without any added flavor.

Overall this is a very simple product lineup but covers the entire range of potencies to match your individual dosage requirements.

We only had two problems with these oils — they’re made from a broad-spectrum hemp extract (considered weaker and lower quality compared to full-spectrum), and all but one only come with the option of peppermint as a flavoring.

A) SabaiDee Good Vibes

This is a simple 250 mg CBD-rich hemp extract with an MCT oil base and peppermint flavor.

This brand uses a broad-spectrum hemp extract — which means it contains CBD as well as several other cannabinoids aside from THC.

THC is the primary psychoactive cannabinoid in the cannabis plant.

While most CBD oils only contain trace amounts of THC and are completely non-psychoactive, some people prefer to avoid this compound completely anyway.

Our only issue with using a broad-spectrum extract as a standard is that other components become damaged during the THC-removal process as well. For example, third-party tests posted on the SabaiDee website for this product indicate these oils contain much lower terpene concentrations as well.

Terpenes are important components in a high-grade CBD oil because they provide distinct therapeutic benefits of their own to the oil.

B) SabaiDee Super Good Vibes

This is the company’s high-potency CBD oil — containing 100 mg of broad-spectrum hemp extract per 1 oz (30 mL) bottle.

This oil is four times stronger than the company’s standard 250 mg oil (Good Vibes), but comes with all the same features.

You can only buy this oil in one flavor (peppermint), and it uses a simple MCT carrier oil base.

C) SabaiDee Mega Good Vibes

This is the strongest CBD oil in the SabaiDee lineup — consisting of 2500 mg of CBd per ounce. This works out to just under 85 milligrams of CBD per milliliter of oil — which is around 1 full dropper.

This is by far the best value from the company, clocking in at around 10 cents for every milligram of CBD. A standard 20 mg dose of CBD costs around $2.00 — compared to $4.00 for the company’s Good Vibes CBD Oil.

This is a good option if you’re trying to avoid using even trace amounts of THC — but in  general, a full-spectrum CBD oil is going to be much stronger and more versatile in its effects.

These oils are decent quality, but the lack of beneficial terpenes, and certain cannabinoids (including but not limited to THC) make this oil weaker than other products opting for a more complete extract.

We also don’t like that this oil is only available in a peppermint flavor. The taste of the CBD oil is a strong indicator of quality, so covering the oil with a strong peppermint extract makes it hard to gauge the true quality of this oil.

D) SabaiDee Pure Good Vibes (Unflavored)

This is the only unflavored CBD oil SabaiDee offers. It uses the same hemp oil base as the Super Good Vibes (1000 mg) CBD oil — but without the addition of peppermint extract for flavor.

This oil still uses the same broad-spectrum hemp extract and MCT carrier oil base as the other products in the SabaiDee lineup.

2. CBD Topicals

Topical CBD is the best way of delivering the active painkilling and anti-inflammatory benefits of cannabinoids like CBD and CBG to the muscles and joints. You can find CBD-infused topicals in the forms of pain creams, lotions, gels, and much more.

The best CBD pain creams combine high concentrations of CBD (at least 5 mg per mL) with other painkilling or anti-inflammatory compounds. Look for products that absorb quickly and completely into the skin, and maintain a cost less than $0.20 per milligram of CBD.

SabaiDee carries two separate CBD topicals — a CBD rub and a CBD lotion. The rub has a waxier texture and roughly half the concentration of CBD. Between the two, the CBD cream is much better value, and offers all the same benefits as the rub.

The only downside of these topicals comes from the company’s decision to use broad-spectrum hemp extract instead of the superior full-spectrum extract most other CBD companies are using for their topicals.

A) SabaiDee Comfort Cream

The Comfort Cream is a gentle CBD lotion that’s optimized for supporting skin health than for targeting muscle or joint pain.

This topical is twice as strong as the company’s other CBD topical (Relief Rub), and has a much better cream base that absorbs quickly through the skin.

The Comfort Cream also contains bergamot essential oil, camphor oil, and peppermint. It leaves a pleasant cooling sensation on the skin.

The problem with this product is that, like all of SabaiDee’s other products, it’s made from a broad-spectrum extract. These products contain lower levels of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other hemp-derived compounds. Most experts recommend avoiding broad-spectrum products unless there’s a specific reason why you’re looking to avoid THC.

B) SabaiDee Relief Rub

The relief rub from SabaiDee is designed to offer relief from chronic pain and arthritis.

It’s formulated with 250 mg of CBD per container (50 mL) — which works out to around 5 mg per mL of cream. We consider this the bare-minimum a CBD pain topical should have to be able to offer reliable benefits.

This rub has a minty aroma and contains other joint-supportive ingredients such as camphor oil, blue tansy, and wintergreen leaf.

Overall, this product is decent and may provide relief for mild to moderate joint pain — but likely isn’t strong enough for more severe arthritis. This is likely the result of SabaiDee’s decision to use a broad-spectrum extract for its topical instead of a full-spectrum hemp extract — which most experts consider superior for managing pain and inflammation.

Safety & Third-Party Testing

SabaiDee does a good job of listing all their recent third-party test results for each product on the company’s website.

They conduct all the tests we expect to see from a CBD brand:

  • Cannabinoid profiles
  • Terpene concentrations
  • Common contaminants

We didn’t find any in the most recent ten tests to indicate issues with contamination — however, many of the oils showed low concentrations of cannabinoids other than CBD or CBG (cannabigerol). Several tests indicated undetectable levels of primary cannabinoids like CBC, CBN, THCV, and more.

Terpene levels were also much lower than average, and many of the therapeutic terpenes we look for in CBD oils were too low to register on the tests altogether.

This is a common finding in broad-spectrum products due to the added level of processing needed to make them. While the goal of these oils is to remove just the THC, many of the other cannabinoids and heat-sensitive terpenes are also lost during the process.

Final Verdict: A Decent Broad-Spectrum CBD Oil

SabaiDee makes all of its products with a broad-spectrum extract. While we understand the idea behind doing this (no THC), these products are almost always weaker and less versatile compared to a quality full-spectrum extract.

Third-party lab tests for these products indicate a lower-than-average terpene and cannabinoid concentration, which ultimately affects the overall benefits of the oil.

If you’re specifically looking for broad-spectrum CBD extracts, SabaiDee is a good option. However, for the cost, you’re better off going for a full-spectrum oil instead — such as the lineup offered by Royal CBD, Gold Bee, Endoca, or Charlotte’s Web instead.
